Mission Statement
The officers of the Ogdensburg Police Department are dedicated to the equitable and impartial enforcement of all laws and ordinances. We will protect human life, property, and maintain the public peace at all times. We will also strive to provide a safe environment for those who live, work, or travel though the Borough of Ogdensburg. In accomplishing our mission of protection and service, the members of this agency will respect Constitutional rights, human dignity and most importantly, the values of the citizens of the Borough of Ogdensburg.
We are firmly committed to a police-community partnership, and will assist the members of our community with the identification and resolution of problems or any adverse situation, in an effort to improve everyone’s quality of life. The goal of each member of this department is to always provide the highest quality of law enforcement services possible.
