Ogdensburg Drug Alliance
The Ogdensburg Drug Alliance (ODA) is a grant program funded through
DEDR (Drug Enforcement Demand Reduction) Funds (that are mandatory
fees imposed upon drug offenders). The GCADA (Governor's Council
on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse) oversees the distribution of these
monies to each County that is disseminated to each participating
municipality since 1989.
All Drug Alliance Programs are going through a Needs Reassessment
for the State. This re-evaluation will help Drug Alliance
Committees to better equip their communities with programs in alcohol
and drug abuse awareness with the goal of prevention. Your
committee is exicited at the potential we have before us in reaching
out within our neighborhood.
